Camera Inspections

A Level 2 inspection is a camera inspection. With a camera, we can see a more detailed image of the flue and determine any major cracks which could be missed by only a visual inspection. A Level 2 inspection may be chosen when there is an offset (turn) in the flue which we need to navigate if we are installing a liner. Although many chimney companies will almost exclusively conduct camera inspections, we are confident in visual inspections. With a flashlight and occasionally a mirror, we can ensure that the flue is safe for usage while not being overly scrupulous with a camera.
