Occasionally, we find that certain chimneys require installing a stainless steel chimney liner to safely and adequately ventilate a wood or pellet burning stove or an oil burning appliance. The liner, a flexible pipe, helps contain and efficiently exhaust the smoke and gases to the atmosphere. It might be used to replace a clay lined flue if the clay is corroded or cracked from sulphuric fume damage over time, or a liner might also be used to improve the draft of a heating system. We use a high grade flexible stainless steel liner which typically lasts at least 30 years.
