At the heart and soul of the trade are cleanings. A chimney cleaning is the removal of soot or creosote from the flue for the purpose of ensuring a healthy draft of smoke and exhaust out of the chimney. We typically use specialty brushes with poly or fiberglass rods to vigorously clean the liner; whether it be lined with clay, stainless steel, or even brick. Afterwards, we vacuum and remove all creosote that has been brushed to the bottom.
